If you are going to tape these games and then watch them PLEASE shut off twittering your blog. Might seem stupid but you are twittering messages like they are news but the events happened hours before. Not cool.
Ouch. I can give you Twitter...maybe. But I question if Twitter is intended to be only used for breaking news. Not sure that is a proper way to view and critique someone's use of that medium.
Agreed that Twitter is not breaking news by just current thoughts BUT current thoughts on a subject that everyone commented on several hours ago without the context of "watching it currently" is weird in my book. I think my comment is due to the proximity of the real time event instead of a thought like "Never knew how the South screwed up the Civil War" An obvious ok twitter not a breaking news story but obviously triggered by a current idea.
Interesting. Perhaps context that I had watched it late would have made it less offensive? Not sure...
I find the observation "I think my comment is due to the proximity of the real time event..." even more interesting. What do you think the threshold is where proximity is exceeded to the point where "current context" is no longer necessary?
