To those -- to those who would tear the world down: We will defeat you. To those who seek peace and security: We support you. And to all those who have wondered if America's beacon still burns as bright: Tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity and unyielding hope.I don't know if I have ever watched a speech and been as inspired as I was last night. I voted for Barack Obama. I had no idea that he would be able to deliver an acceptance speech that struck me as one of the most impressive displays of leadership, eloquence and inspiration that I have experienced in my life. As he was speaking, I was unable to sit still. Tears came to my eyes - something that one hour earlier I had said to my wife that I did not think I could relate to when I saw people similarly affected. Last night was a historical moment, and I think that regardless of your politics, it will be a moment that none of us will forget for a very long time, if ever.
