Touches of Home

It has been a really long two months and for the most part, they come to a conclusion this week. I won't go into too many details as to the reason, as I like to keep work topics out of this forum. The "long" part essentially relates to the fact that I have been on the road, Mon-Fri for the last two months straight. I do have a couple more trips ahead for conferences but they are short, not full weeks and will take me to some new places (Denver and Ottawa). The home stretch is here and it is short.

The last two nights I have taken the time to walk around DC at night and enjoy some of the city. Along the way I found a couple touches of home. I will be back home today and am super excited. The photo below is from the WWII memorial and the one above is the statue of Lafayette in Lafayette Square out in front of the White House. Nice to find these little reminders as I enjoyed DC.

On a personal note, I'd like to publicly thank my wonderful wife for not only putting up with me during the last two months, but for supporting, encouraging and helping me all along the way. She is amazing and I am truly lucky.
