Di María vs Netherlands - Messi's Incredible Pass
So soccer fan or not, I do not think you can watch this and fail to appreciate the vision and precision that Lionel Messi has as he plays this through ball to Di María to put Argentina over the Netherlands and into the Olympic semifinals. I was in awe when I watched this happen this morning.

And what was impressive that he threaded the ball through 5 defenders and put his man on goal behind the defense. Admittedly though he has done much more impressive things with the ball.
And when a coach says "let the ball do the work" this is what they mean. He beat 5 guys with one pass.
Excuse me, Wilablog, but are you not following the women's Olympic soccer team? They are in the finals now!!

Whiskey: Only somewhat...it has been a little hard to keep up (or get up) with the women's games on top of the other stuff going on these days. No insult to our women attended.
