Today was the service for Nathan. It was beautiful and heartbreaking. He had a favorite hymn - it was Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee (words by Van Dyke and music by Beethoven). The service concluded with the congregation singing this song.

Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee, opening to the sun above.
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness; drive the dark of doubt away;
