To round off the cajun drive thru photo series, I made a special trip out to a couple drive thru daiquiri huts and took a few photographs. This phenomena is really fascinating. You get in your car, drive down to the hut, and enter the drive thru line. You drive up to the window and order an alcoholic drink. They give you the drink (again, it is alcoholic) in a styrofoam cup with a straw. You drive away. Pretty weird right?The straw is sometime covered with a piece of tape or the upper most portion of the straw wrapper. This is a good thing. Otherwise, we would have a bunch of drunk cajuns driving around Lafayette. Ummm.....yeah.

You didn't get a pick of the best one-- The one on Taft Street is killer. Sometimes they give away free jello shots.

Ummm....dropping all work items now and going to go get a jello shot.
