Back of the net on the fly...
I occasionally invite my team to a little friendly competition and offer up a reward if they can meet a certain challenge. If they cannot meet the challenge, they have to do some conditioning drills. The classic competition is "back of the net on the fly" from distance. We don't do it from midfield yet. I let them try it from about 40 yards out, sometimes more. The object is self-evident: hit the back of the net on the fly, no bounce. Do so and avoid running.

Go Revs!!!
Not only was it his first career goal, it was his first career shot.
holy cow!!!!
Later on in the clip , the goalie gets the ball and seems to run the entire box...I always thought that you had 10 a step leeway after you controled the ball as a keeper...
Pele: First shot...really?
Sineddie: they scrapped the 10 step rule. You now have 6 seconds.
Whiskey: Teams from New England are not allowed to win any more sport titles this year. That includes the Patriots.
Yep, here's his stats on the revolution website: http://www.mlsnet.com/players/bio.jsp?team=t109&player=parkhurst_m&playerId=par369463&statType=current
ok, that didn't work, but you can look it up on the revolution homepage under stats.
That's pretty crazy.
Go Pats!
