We went to the
Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge the other day - it was gorgeous. The refuge is about 35,000 acres that you can hunt, fish, drive, take pictures on, etc. Migratory birds and gators are everywhere. We did a short wildlife drive and got to visit with some of the locals. Here is one pictured below. He was a friendly fellow.

We took plenty of pictures of the refuge that I will upload when I have a little more time.
