During the Manchester United vs Chelsea game this past weekend, United pulled a trick corner kick out of their hat that was so tricky the ref was fooled. They scored a goal but the referee took it away because he did not correctly follow the series of events. Crazy! via Pele1410

They talked extensively about it afterwards and he actually did see what happened. The linesman called it back because "it did not follow within the spirit of the game."
Of course, I'm still pissed about it. Thankfully they scored on the re-kick.

My club team in grade school used to use a similar play...it was called Watford, since my coach at the time saw Watford (from the English League at the time) use a similar play.
