Fixing a broken laptop...

...has proven to be more difficult than you would think. The Dell service repairman showed up today to replace my motherboard. Unfortunately, when he opened the box with the new motherboard, he saw that the new part was also broken. He was here for a total of 10 minutes and is now coming back tomorrow. Good times.

That's why you should do all your own computer work. Tech guys don't know anything.

I think the issue has more to do with the delivery guy than the tech guy. What can brown do for you?
