It is amazing how much the dog (still unnamed) has impacted my lifestyle already. 25% of my conversations with my wife currently revolve around whether or not the dog is going to the bathroom, how she goes to the bathroom, and where she goes to the bathroom.

I Know someone who named their dog Mr Puppy because they could not come up with a name.

I don't think we'll take that option. On the other hand, at what point does not naming your pet become cruel? Right now, her default name is "girl."
You guys are smart, creative people!! You have no excuse for this!! Just come up with a name!!
A woman I know did not officially name her son for the first few years of his life. She kept trying out different names for a while and would then change her mind. Every few months she'd say something like, "Okay, Billy? Your name isn't Billy anymore. From now on, we're going to call you Wes."
Then a few months later, "Wes? We're not going to call you Wes anymore, from now on your name is Sam."
And on and on until the kid hit age three and one day responded, "NO!!! My name is either Sam or Mr. Himperdink!" And the mom said, "Okay, we'll keep it as Sam."

She looks alot like my friend's dog, who was named Mia.
