Festival International de Louisiane - Monthly Mix

The latest Monthly Mix is slightly different than the traditional mix you see from me. This mix was inspired by the bands that performed at this past year's Festival International in Lafayette, LA. For those of you not from around here, this festival cannot be missed. It is truly amazing and completely free! So all in all, a great time to visit your favorite blogger.

Official Festival Site can be found here.

The bands on this mix represent a mix of great local musicians as well as musicians from around the US and other countries. Enjoy.

That's a lotta Red Stick Ramblers and Mamou Playboys all at once! It'll be like bringing the Blue Moon home with me!

The Blue Moon Saloon, that is.

Yup - some good cajun tunes on this one. All of these are on the table, stuffed in envelopes...but oddly enough, the post office doesn't sell stamps via vending machines anymore. Why is that?
