Alela Diane - Pirate's Gospel

I was exploring the music of Alela Diane yesterday, who is evidently categorized in a musical genre known as New Weird America. You're not alone if that is a new term to you. Regardless of the categorization, she has a really unique voice and creates some compelling music. Here is the title track from her album, Pirate's Gospel, performed in a stripped down setting. I like this version better then the studio.
