Where We Eat

Discover launched a new spending analysis tool on its website recently. It allows you to drill down and report on your spending trends in various categories for time frames from 1 month to 2 years. My wife and I buy everything we can with this card because of the 1% cash back bonus. It rocks.

The tool is awesome. Here are the top 10 restaurants that we have spent money at in the last 2 years:

Although I am not particularly surprised by your spending trend, quite the rich people hang outs, I am well disappointed. I do not see Ruby's Restaurant on your list. Confusing at first, so I looked again....still not there. Ah well! Maybe next statement it will be atleast #7.

I am embarrassed but will defend myself in this way: I drive a 10+ year old honda civic in order to feed my ruth chris french fry addiction! True story.

Xularite: We are definitely in need of some Ruby's trips-- we'll make it a goal in 2008 to have it move up the list.

your conscientious effort in this matter is greatly appreciated. I will expect a weekly visit, with conversation.

And although I may disagree with your defense, I will defend to the death your right to defend yourself...lol

Easy now. Definitely did not occur to me that the list would be interpreted that way. My apologies. We receive frequent gifts to go to RC and it skews the spending trend quite a bit. Regardless, their steak rocks and the fries are close to the best.

I will get to Ruby's ASAP! And then maybe you can not criticize me for liking a great steak :-)
