If only it was this easy...

...taking care of Jozy would be so much simpler. Although I have to say, I am glad she is a able to adapt to situations a bit better then this.

I'm no pet lover, but that seems like an unnecessarily mean-spirited thing to do.

I think it depends on the intent. We regularly create puzzles for Jozy to "figure out" because we have been told that engaging her in mental challenges is just as important as exercising her. Granted, this video was probably made for chuckles...but I do think there are cases where something like this would not necessarily be considered mean-spirited.

I dunno. It doesn't seem like a puzzle for the dog to figure out here because he's somehow afraid of touching or knocking down the cans.

This dog seems really frustrated and stressed out here. It's true that the dog isn't *actually* trapped, but he believes he is, and I can see the anxiety building as the owner teases him with squeaky toys.

This is not the same as engaging him in a mental challenge, I don't think.

I almost never empathize with animals and really have no soft spot for pets in general, but I genuinely feel bad for the pup in this video. Why torture him psychologically-- just for a little amusement? Boo.

On the other hand, if they'd set up a maze with the cans, that would be cool.
