If there is one object in our house that summarizes a love-hate relationship, this is it. Some people may feel that shock collars can be cruel. For us, they give Jozy freedom to be outside all day with no fence. For that, I love it. Jozy needs it. For the two times it has shocked her, I hate it.
Jozy feels the same way I think. Sometimes she shows no fear of her "necklace" and embraces the freedom she has. Sometimes she asks to go out, and then decides otherwise...
It's a simple dichotomy that symbolizes many things.
