Part of the tree pruning package we bought was to have the live oaks in our yard "eco-mulched." This basically means that they pull up in a big truck with a big mulch gun attached to it and spray it all at the base of your trees.
It essentially mimics the ground cover that you would get in a wooded setting that you don't get as a result of the incessant yard work that we are forced to do. While this is great for your trees, Jozy was not so sure about it.
After some brief investigative work though, she soon discovered its scent and how fun it was to roll around in, eat, dig, etc. She has much love for the mulch at this point and is now tracking it into the house at every opportunity.
