Murphy Family Fund

On a serious note, a local family from Lafayette who traveled to South Africa for the World Cup experienced a tragedy while at the games. Apparently, a drunk driver hit and killed their daughter (Nicole Murphy) and her brother (Brian Murphy) is in critical condition. A fund has been set up to help the family pay for the costs of medical care and transport in order to get Brian home (upwards of $300K). This article gives you the details about the fund.
